"Grandma"
Holding your grandmas bible,
A tear starts to run down your check.
You quietly cry as you remember her,
The times she would watch you when you were sick,
When you and her would cook hot dogs over a fire.
Slowly you walk away from the grave site,
Wishing it was just a dream,
Hoping it wasn’t true.
But it’s real.
You try to escape it,
But you can’t.
You wish every one would just leave you alone,
But they keep coming to comfort you.
The more you think about her,
The more you miss her.
You tuck away her bible to hide the memories,
But they keep coming.
You forget about her bible,
But the pain increases.
You then remember her bible,
You take it to her head stone and place it there,
You say good bye for the last time,
And every thing is ok.

The sweet smile shines like the sun,
Making every thing ok.
Like the sun,
Your face shines bright every day.
No one is ever gloomy around you.
This love for you is everlasting.
It’s so hard to contain it,
I can barley stand it.
There is no one I can love like you.
As each day passes,
I love you more and more.

"Stars"
staring at the stars,
they remind me of you.
so perfect, just like you.
so sweet,
so nice,
so caring.
as i continue staring,
i remember being told "the stars could already be dead,
but their light is still traveling through space"
I think, my love for you will never die.
unlike the stars,
i will always be there for you.
